Welcome to Strubby, Beesby and Maltby Le Marsh Village Hall
Formerly a Methodist chapel, the village hall is situated in the middle of Maltby Le Marsh, opposite the Petrol Station. It serves the villages of Strubby, Beesby and Maltby Le Marsh and has been open since 1996.
Energetic local fund raising and a number of grants obtained by the County and District Councils and The National Lottery enabled to hall’s renovation to be completed in 2000 with two new extensions, housing disabled toilet facilities, ladies and gents cloakrooms and a very well equipped modern kitchen.
Subsequent fund raising has meant that the hall is able to cater for parties, functions and weddings with matching cutlery and crockery for 100 people. Recently purchased Portable Staging also makes the venue suitable for small scale live performances.
A Premises Licence which includes the sale of alcohol allows hirers the benefit of a licensed bar.
A hearing loop and sound system in the main hall is ideal for large meetings, and a meeting room is available for smaller gatherings, committee meetings and is used by local groups and the Parish Council.
The village hall is available for hire every day, including Sunday’s and the committee welcome enquiries and the opportunity to show prospective hirers the facilities on offer.
